INDICATIONS:Hypogastric pain, fullness and distention of the abdomen, heat in the abdomen, heat in the body with abdominal pain, retention of urine and feces, heat in the Large Intestine, injury by cold leading to heat in the Stomach, hot painful urinary dysfunction, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, disorders related to childbirth, retention of the placenta, difficult lactation, swelling and pain of the external vagina or penis, pain of the testicles, Shan disorder, impotence, running piglet Qi, spermatorrhea, dysmenorrhea, uterine tumors and fibroids, hemorrhage, hunger with no desire to eat, hernia, uterovaginal prolapse, spasms of foot
WESTERN USES:
CAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS:If patient is thin, deep needling may puncture peritoneal cavity or a full bladder. Patient should be asked to emptry the bladder before treatment. Deep inferior insertion can puncture spermatic cord in men. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
POINT COMBINATIONS:ST 30 + LV 8 + LV 3 for hernia
